The South Warwickshire Local Plan (SWLP)

 

The South Warwickshire Local Plan (SWLP) website shows the progress and direction how Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick District Councils are working together to produce a new South Warwickshire Local Plan to cover our combined geographic area.(Https://www.southwarwickshire.org.uk/swlp/)

Currently the favoured option is Option 4 “Sustainable Travel and Economy (Hybrid Options 2 & 3)” the development follows the local rail network. Note it is not only the housing, employment and amenity requirements of Warwick and Stratford that impact the plan but the needs of Coventry also.
